DIRECTIONS
Yorkshire Pudding is traditionally made with pan drippings from cooking meat. In this recipe oil is listed instead. Feel free to use pan drippings for a more flavorful pudding.- Preheat oven to 450° F.
- Whisk together soy flour, gluten, eggs, milk and salt.
- Pour drippings or oil into an 8-inch square baking dish, and place on center rack in oven for 5 minutes, until drippings or oil is smoking hot. Then add batter and bake 15 minutes.
- Lower temperature to 350° F and bake for 15 to 20 minutes more, until lightly browned. Serve piping hot.
