Celebrate World Health Day with Healthy Low Carb Recipes

The first World Health Assembly was arranged by the World Health Organization in 1948 at the World Health Organization (WHO)’s headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. One of the most important decisions the Assembly made that year was to establish World Health Day.

World Health Day is on April 7th every year, and began in 1950. It marks the day the WHO was founded and is meant to raise awareness for a particular issue affecting global health. This effort by the WHO has been supported by governments and private organizations taking part in the initiative to spread awareness.

This holiday is an excellent opportunity for anyone to contribute to world health by doing something to make themselves healthier. After all, if everyone in the world makes an effort to improve their own personal health, this could have a large global impact.

Here are some healthy low carb recipes that can help you improve your own health on World Health Day:

Salmon en Papillote with Tomato-Basil Relish

This dish is perfect as an appetizer to set out at a party, since all you have to do is stick a toothpick in them. Plus, this great recipe can be eaten during each phase of the Atkins diet and has 8.1 grams of protein.

Decadent Chocolate Cake
