My Story:

For me it took 5 years to lose my ultimate goal of 100 pounds. I still want to lose a little more, but my life has improved DRASTICALLY from what it was. At ONLY 18 years old, I was 275 pounds! My doctor told me I was on the brink of hypertension and that if I didn’t make a change I would die at an early age. Of course that was hard to swallow, but it really woke me up. I was incredibly unhappy, I hadn’t had a boyfriend in years, I couldn’t fit on amusement rides, I had a horrible complex and felt that everyone was starring at me because of my size. That is when I started every diet known to man. Over the years I have done several: Weight Watchers, South Beach Diet, Cabbage soup diet, 7 day diet, The Christian diet, Alli,- you name it I have probably tired it. To be honest I even dabbled in bulimia nervosa, I was desperate. The one thing that I always gone back to is Atkins, because it works! It is the only one that has proven time and time again to give me great results that last. After losing just 30 pounds, I had a normal blood pressure and my confidence shot through the roof. Now when people stare at me, I feel it is because I look so good and being able to go to the fairs again and ride any ride I want feels pretty amazing too!

My Goals:
I want to get down to 150/155 pounds which is considered a healthy weight for my height. I have inspired so many others to lose weight, that I am going to go to college to get the education I need start my own fitness facilities and help other lose weight.

How Atkins Helped Get Me There: It was the only thing that worked. With Atkins.com it made finding the help that I needed simple. I am so thankful for Atkins.
